Costs of Incarceration and Supervision: Costs of incarceration and probation are computed by the Department of Corrections. Incarceration costs include direct costs, indirect costs and capital maintenance. Probation and Parole costs are the cost of field supervision, including the operational costs of community supervision centers and community release centers and the cost of community programming.
